Kentucky Orchid Society members recently had an opportunity to show off their orchids at a fundraising event given by the Association for the Louisville Orchestra. The a la Carte event was held on November 18 at the home of the Lee Zimmermans in partnership with Early Times/Suntory. Our participation was facilitated by one our newest members, Suzanne Spencer, who is also on the board of the Association of the Louisville Orchestra. The orchids were arranged on bourbon barrel heads donated by a small cooperage in Shepherdsville and served as centerpieces at the event.
