The last weekend in February was a very busy time for the Kentucky Orchid Society. Not only did we staff a booth at the Home and Garden Show, but we also set up a display in the GCOS. Gloria Teague and Carla Cates designed a beautiful display which contained 16 plants from seven KOS members. Thanks to the set up crew and all the individuals who took time to groom their plants for the display.
The display itself won the third place ribbon for a <25 sq ft display. Of the 16 plants, 12 were awarded ribbons (2 blue, 2 red, 8 white). Congratulations to all!
Many thanks to Pam LaRocco, Debbie Hanna, Ann Schatzinger and JoElle Bollman who dismantled and brought our display home.
