Presented by Michael Hinshaw to the Kentucky Orchid Society March 9, 2020
Michael Hinshaw is a retired Research Chemist who has been growing orchids for more than 40 years. During those years he had the good fortune of receiving about 30 AOS awards, of which about half have been for Phalaenopsis. He has a small green house and light room with about 1200 plants, and does his own tissue culturing at home. He enjoys putting in displays at the spring orchid shows in Indiana and Ohio with Phalaenopsis as the backbone of these displays.
