The Kentucky Orchid Society lost a long term and active member recently. It was with great sadness that we learned of Ann Hildreth’s passing on October 29, 2020.
Ann was president of KOS in 2012 and introduced KOS to social media with its’ first website and Facebook page. She helped me make some administrative changes to those KOS social media sites just a few weeks ago, spending an entire afternoon looking up information. She was kind, witty and fun to be around. Many of us will remember her fondly. Though her health had recently interfered in her wish to be more active in the Society, she did purchase a plant at the KOS virtual auction in October and was trying to learn how to “Zoom” for our monthly meetings.

KOS will make a donation to the American Orchid Society in Ann’s honor.
